Membership Auditions Join a fun and friendly group of dedicated musicians in a varied and exciting program for the upcoming season. For your audition, you should prepare a solo song, which need not be difficult, but something that demonstrates your range and vocal quality. You may be asked to do some sight-reading and to demonstrate your range through vocalises. An accompanist will be provided. Our choir members are expected to attend weekly Tuesday evening rehearsals, commit to participate in all scheduled concerts, practice music that we are currently preparing (we'll provide CDs and MP3 files), and contribute to the work and financial health of the choir. The Seattle Bach Choir rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 7:30-9:45 pm, at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in the Maple Leaf district (north of the University of Washington). To schedule an audition please email us at webmaster@seattlebachchoir.org. Auditions are customarily held during the summer, generally in the months of June and August, for the upcoming season. On occasion we audition singers in a particular section when a mid season vacancy occurs. Please complete the audition form and bring it with you to the audition.
